Want us to offer this to your community?

Do you have a rad group of folks who have questions about bookkeeping, taxes, personal finance or anything else having to do with money? Want to get them answered by some Radical Money People (RMPs) with an Asset to the Resistance Free Money Advice Q & A?

If so, please reach out. We will show up to your virtual (or possibly in-person) event, meet your peeps and answer questions about bookkeeping, taxes, money, and just about anything else having to do with finances.

Get your bookkeeping, tax and finance questions answered by some Radical Money People (RMPs). Tell your Friends!

This event is $1-$10 sliding scale at the door. The fee will go to cover costs to hold the event and any additional funds will be donated to a local non-profit. No one will be turned away for lack of funds!

Asset to the Resistance challenges the capitalist system through education about money. The following folks will be organized to help answer all those burning questions.

Jenna Goldin has been a Licensed Tax Return Preparer in Oregon since 2010. In addition to tax preparation, Jenna offers bookkeeping services, Quickbooks set-up and support, and workshops for small business owners. Her background is in women’s studies and psychology. She became a tax preparer as a way to do social justice work around money and finance. She aims to create a supportive and empowering experience for her clients. Mathllc.com

Katy Meegan is the founder of Bandit Books llc, a bookkeeping, accounting and management resource for creative creatures. She has the nitty gritty experience of starting and operating a successful illustration & letterpress printing company while in her twenties and founding a collective arts organization. She now works primarily with artists, designers, healers, craftspeople, freelancers, individuals and small businesses from all walks of life to navigate the financial side of their work and businesses. Through myriad tactics she works to get the accounting to makes sense, feel manageable and to be ready when tax time comes. Brian Frank is an accountant, tax preparer and fiscal management consultant with more than 15 years of experience. A bodyworker for 8 years, Emily provides a grounded and welcoming space for people to talk about their financial future. She uses her educational background in math and financial coaching to tackle client questions with clarity and gusto -- on topics from budgeting and debt payoff to basic business bookkeeping, home buying and more.

Hazel Gross ran several small businesses before becoming a bookkeeper six years ago. She is a Gusto Bronze partner and Quickbooks Online Gold Pro Advisor. She specializes in setting up and working with all types of small businesses in Portland.

Jes Rega has been doing ledger accounting for 20 years. She’s spent a majority of her career working for small businesses, with a focus on budgeting, financial analysis, and cash flow management. She doesn’t do taxes.
